About the Exotic Shorthair
The Exotic Shorthair, often called the "shorthaired Persian," is a breed developed by crossing Persians with American Shorthairs to achieve the Persian's distinctive sweet, placid temperament and extreme physical type, but with a short, plush, easy-care coat. It is characterized by its massive, cobby body, extremely brachycephalic (flat) face, large round eyes, and a dense, plush coat.
