The Chausie is a hybrid domestic cat breed developed from crosses between the Jungle Cat (Felis chaus) and domestic breeds like the Abyssinian. It is a large, tall, leggy cat known for its athletic, "wild" appearance and extremely high energy levels. Chausies are intelligent, active, and require significant mental and physical stimulation. They often exhibit dog-like behaviors and form strong bonds with their owners, but are best suited for experienced cat owners.
