My Story
Freddi here.
I used to belong to a wonderful family, but unfortunately, when my parents got sick my human brother made the hard choice to give me to someone who could care for me better. I am very hesitant to trust, and haven't opened up much.
I'm an older bird, and a pretty unique one at that! Patagonian Conures are the largest of all conures, being about eighteen inches long and weighing more than half a pound. I need a large cage and a lot of space. I'm not as loud as a lot of other conures, but I can still be loud if I want to. I'd also really love a man - I've always done best with male caregivers!
If you think you might be able to give me some of your time and help me open up, please let the conure coordinator know! You can see more about me at https://mickaboo.org!
