Meet Penelope - a loving, gentle, and loyal companion who just so happens to be an Akita. She is quiet, but very friendly, and will happily cuddle up with you. Penelope was rescued from Fort Worth, and she is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of attention. She has a lot of love to give, and she is just looking for the right person to give it to. It should be noted that she isn't particularly fond of other dogs, so would prefer to be the only canine companion in the household. She also doesn't get along with cats.
