Fenced yard.  He talks back like a teenager oozing attitude and tends to like to be vocal (he *is* a Chihuahua), so a home that has walls that are shared with a neighbor won't work.  He will scream and act like you're killing him if you try to leash him, so a fenced in yard is a must. Oh, and he doesn't like to be picked up either.   He loves to be near his people and be as close as he can.      Cats: Well, he lives with cats and hasn't injured any, but he can sometimes be a jerk to them.  He'll randomly "guard" water dishes and other items, and he'll chase the cats away, but no teeth are involved.   Kids: Due to his size, he's not recommended for a home with younger children or where children visit often.   Crate Trained: He is crate trained but his foster family usually just leaves him loose.   Potty Trained: He really needs to have puppy pads out for him to use because he won't try to hold it until the next trip outside.   Dogs: He's a bit bossy but is okay with small dogs.  He screams like he's been injured when he sees a large dog, so those are a no for him.   Leash Manners: Nope, not happening.  Unless you want to lose the tips of your fingers and listen to a dog screaming, it's a no. Bamm-Bamm thinks he's a Coon Hound whose job is to "tree" squirrels and is happy to do so for hours when the weather is nice.  He's a busy little guy who is always on the move and not one to spend time sitting on anyone's lap.     Adoption Process: Step 1:    Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:    PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:    IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. ​Step 4:   If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.
