My Story

MEET HANS! Hans is a 50 lb goofball with a heart full of love and a nose for fun. He was found abandoned in a field after his previous owners moved away, but that hasn’t dampened his spirit — he’s eager to please, full of personality, and loves making his people laugh. Hans is gentle with small dogs, submissive to larger ones, and prefers play over conflict — he’s all heart, no ego. He knows basic commands, is house trained, and thrives when he has a job to do or an adventure to go on. Without enough stimulation, he’ll happily “redecorate” with cushions and blankets. He’s also an expert chain-link fence climber, so a tall, solid wall is a must. Hans should always be on leash when outside — his adventurous spirit means he’ll roam if given the chance! Hans can be shy at first with new people, but once he feels safe, he transforms into a lovable goofball who just wants to be part of the fun. Hans Would Thrive In a Home With: • A secure yard with a tall, walled fence (not chain link) • An active person or family who enjoys hiking, walking, and outdoor time • A consistent routine and continued training • Other friendly dogs — he’s a great playmate Hans is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to charm his way into your heart.
