Ennis

Ennis came to ARC with another kitty because his guardian could no longer care for them. Ennis adjusted almost immediately to his new surroundings. He is a happy kitty that enjoys life and the people around him. He also enjoys spending time and playing with the other kitties in his house. Ennis is FIV positive. FIV in cats is like HIV (the human immunodeficiency virus) and causes a feline disease that is like AIDS in humans. Although FIV is like AIDS in humans it is a highly species-specific virus that infects only felines. While there is currently no definitive cure for FIV in felines, with proper care there is no reason a cat infected with FIV cannot live a very normal, healthy life for years -- if managed appropriately.  Date of birth  Jan 2021
