My Story

Hello! I’m Panda, an English Spot who looks a lot like my sister, Sunny, but I’m the one with an all-black nose. Sunny & I are sisters and bond mates, so we must be adopted together.  I’m a little more reserved than Sunny at first, but my curiosity usually wins out, and I like to quietly watch what’s going on. I enjoy investigating new things, especially if they involve food! Cardboard boxes are my favorite to tear into, and I also like solving food puzzles or digging into a snuffle mat. Just like Sunny, I get excited for my morning pellets and will show it with a happy binky.  I’m moderately active and like having things to keep me busy, but I also spend a good portion of the day resting. Hanging chew toys, cardboard rolls, and other foraging activities keep me entertained. I don’t seek out much petting and tend to keep physical contact brief, but I like being around my people on my own terms. When I’m exploring, I don’t need much supervision since I’m not destructive, though I might occasionally go to the bathroom outside the litter box if I’ve been out for a while.  I do well in the same space as cats and have been fine with a dog as long as we’re separated by a gate. I haven’t interacted with children, but I would rather not be picked up and can get startled by loud or sudden noises.  My favorite foods are fresh leafy greens like spring mix, celery, parsley, and cilantro. I’m a curious girl who’s looking for a place to call home with Sunny - could that be yours?  *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com . Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 4/1/2024 Approximate weight: 7.34 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.      If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
