Mackie

Mackie, formerly known as Murphy when he was in our care, has sadly been returned to the shelter through no fault of his own. Due to a sudden change in employment, his adopter was no longer able to keep him, and now this sweet boy is back with us hoping for a second chance. Mackie/Murphy is a 3-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix who was a volunteer favorite the first time he was here, and he’s settled right back in since his return — happily greeting all of his people with love and enthusiasm. ❤️Before his adoption, Mackie lived in a foster home with another dog and truly thrived. He loved meeting new people and going on adventures — from the beach ️ to kayaking ‍♂️ to trips to the farmer’s market. He’s a wonderful companion and the perfect sidekick.We hate to see him back at the shelter after having a home, and we know he has so much love left to give.
