Opal is a sweet, mellow dog with wonderful manners. She takes treats gently, waits to be invited onto the couch, and sits politely for her meals. She’s fully house-trained, settles quickly into her crate at night, and rarely barks. Opal even taught herself how to use the doggy door and loves spending time outside, especially if there’s a sunny spot to relax in. While she enjoys a good game of fetch now and then or a short walk, she’s happiest simply being near her people, content to curl up and keep you company by your side. This sweet girl has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
