Blarney

SWEET, FUN & ADORABLE:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 16 lbs. Hi there, I’m Blarney!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m so happy to be safe and loved while I wait for my forever family.  I just went into a foster home, so we’ll be learning even more about me soon — but for now, just know that I’m feeling grateful, hopeful, and excited for this new chapter!  I’m also feeling good after my snazzy new haircut.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a friendly pup who’s a little timid at first, but calm, chill, and sweet as can be.  I have a playful, fun side, too, making me a great mix of relaxed companion and happy playmate. / Energy level: 4-6.           • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t recall if I know any commands yet, but let's do some training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I have pretty good crate manners, though I don’t always want to go back in it as I like spending time with people more. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule with very few accidents.     • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing with toys and having fun with the volunteers, and I’m sure once I’m settled into my new home, we’ll discover lots more things we’ll enjoy doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a good dental cleaning with 13 extractions, so my mouth is healthy and fresh again!  I’m on a good over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin which is good for all older dogs.  I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
