My Story

#A5755145 Meet Griffy , a 2-year-old Cane Corso who is the definition of stunning, with all the classic good looks of his breed. His sleek grey coat, floppy ears, soulful eyes, smooshable jowls, and tiny tail nubbin give him a truly regal presence wherever he goes. Even in the noisy shelter, Griffy carries himself with quiet grace - calm, observant, and curious about the world around him. With a few tasty Milk-Bones, he quickly warms up and leans in for affection, especially if you’re willing to give him a good booty scritch (and you’ll be rewarded with the cutest little wiggle!). Despite his strong, solid build, he’s easy to leash and walk, showing just how cooperative and gentle he can be. Griffy would do best in an adults-only home where his loyal, protective nature can shine as he settles in with his new family. Will that be with you? -2 year old grey Cane Corso -79 pound neutered male -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/19/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter -big handsome boy, but gentle and cooperative - bonds close with his people and will definitely keep a watchful eye out for them -would make an awesome little brother to other dogs you may already have - he is super playful and social, but due to his size, only medium to large dogs or bigger -recommended for an adults only home, due to his size and strength - women shelter staff had no issues walking or handling him, but he is a bit too big and strong for any kiddos -really beautiful boy that would make any family happy!     GRIFFY’S VIDEO:  https://youtube.com/shorts/9vrl9ryVs_8?si=3J5S4LssbrTK0L4G   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
