Kodiak

 Kodiak is a sweet 3.5 year old husky who was surrendered when his owners were unable to bring him to their new home. He is housetrained, leash trained, crate trained, and loves people! He does like to run, so a fenced in yard may be necessary for this explorer or constant supervision.Kodiak is fine with most other dogs but hasn't been around cats, although he has been known to kill chickens so his prey drive is strong. He is playful with kids, sometimes not realizing his own strength & size, so older kids who can hold their own would suit him best. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
