Suede

Suede wanted nothing to do with humans when she and her babies Velcro, Button, and Zipper came to the shelter in September of 2025. She was scared and would hiss or growl whenever we came near. Her kittens, however, loved humans, and Suede loved her kittens. Suede watched us carefully with her babies. She let them nurse far past when they should have been fully weaned. Suede didn’t trust us, but as time went by and nothing bad happened, she eventually came around with liberal application of treats and pets. Suede is still a bit shy, but she is getting more confident every day. Suede was born October of 2023.  She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
