My Story
Rex is a 1.5 year old male Rottweiler who weighs in at 80 pounds. This dog's adoption fee is $350. If you are still interested, please read more below. Rex is an 18-month-old pure-bred Rottweiler. He had hip surgery when he was roughly 10 months old and has fully recovered. He is a playful and active “puppy”. He is good with other large dogs (not tested with other sizes but his foster believes he would become a fast friend). He is food motivated, but not food aggressive at all. He is crate trained and potty trained. He lets you know by either “pawing” you or “talking” to you. He loves people, is very good with kids, and wants to be around you. He loves to chew, so rugged stuffed animals/chew toys are a must. He knows basic commands but would benefit from obedience training. Rex is an energetic gentle soul – a total lover boy in dog form. Rex is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.
