Ameaus

Ameaus is a beautiful 5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix with a striking tan, black, and gold medium coat and a gentle soul to match. He is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. His owner is facing terminal cancer and can no longer care for him, so this sweet boy is hoping someone will open their heart and give him the safe, happy home he deserves. Ameaus has mostly lived as a yard dog, but would transition well to living inside with his people. He absolutely loves going for walks and is great on leash. He is very intelligent, eager to please, and a quick learner who enjoys learning new things. He already knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down, and with his bright mind he is capable of learning so much more. Ameaus has a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. He is gentle, laid back, and full of love to give. He gets along great with other dogs, kids, and people, making him a wonderful companion for many different kinds of families. Weighing about 60 pounds, Amaeus is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a loving family. He was house trained in the past, but since he has been living outside he will need a refresher. Luckily, Ameaus is incredibly smart and this should come back to him quickly with a little patience and consistency. Ameaus is currently living in Oceanside and is hoping someone will give him the second chance he deserves.
