Spot

Spot absolutely loves people and enjoys being around his humans as much as possible. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and would really enjoy having a dog friend or two in his new home to play and relax with. He has a calm and easygoing nature but still has a playful side that comes out when he is having fun with his friends. He walks nicely on leash, seems to be potty trained, and is food motivated which makes him eager to learn and easy to work with. Spot carries himself with a relaxed confidence and a sweet demeanor that makes him a joy to be around. With his scruffy coat, charming smile, and expressive face, Spot is the kind of dog who will turn heads wherever he goes. He has been looking for love in all the wrong places, but now he is ready to find a cozy and caring home where he can finally settle in for good. If you are looking for a lovable, gentle companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Spot is ready to meet you and become part of your family.Spot was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. He will be available to meet starting 3/14!Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
