My Story

Hi there! My name is River, and I’m a fun, goofy girl looking for my forever home.I’m about 3 years old, which means I’m the perfect mix of playful energy and laid back snuggles. I love playing with my foster brothers, especially when I get the zoomies (don’t worry, it’s only a couple times a day). I’m a big fan of plushy toys and a good game of tug of war.I’m also a very smart girl. In fact, I’ve learned how to open different doors around the house. My foster mom says I’m clever and curious, and she’s pretty proud of me, even if she did add a few baby locks just to keep me safe. After playtime, I’m just as happy being a huge couch potato. I love a cozy spot on the couch, gentle pets, snuggles, and of course a good nap. Basically, I’m the perfect balance of fun and cuddly.I’ve been through a few homes already, so what I’m really hoping for now is a forever family who will love me, spend time with me, and let me be part of their life. I have so much love to give, and I can’t wait to share it with the right people. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and snuggly Great Dane companion, I might just be your girl.To meet River, please complete an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application.
