My Story
Meet Teddy ð¾ Teddy is an 11-year-old Shih Tzu and Poodle mix (often called a âShih-Pooâ) weighing about 20 pounds â the perfect medium-small size for cuddles on the couch and leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Donât let his age fool you â this charming gentleman is still wonderfully active and enjoys his daily walks just as much as he loves soaking up attention from his favorite humans. Teddyâs favorite spot in the house? A comfy place on the couch where he can gaze out the window, keeping an eye on the world. He may have a protective bark, but itâs all talk â heâs completely harmless and just likes to make sure everyone knows heâs on duty. Heâs wonderful with children and has a gentle, loving nature. The only thing he asks is that his face not be touched â he prefers pets and scratches everywhere else. Teddy would do best as the only dog in the home, as heâs not great with other dogs and prefers having his people all to himself. Teddy is fully potty trained and will politely let you know when he needs to go outside. Heâs also crate trained and can comfortably relax there for hours at a time. He is up to date on all vaccinations and has no health concerns, making him a happy and healthy companion ready for his next chapter. While Teddy absolutely loves affection and companionship, heâs also perfectly content spending some quiet time on his own. He would thrive in a home where he can get the love and attention he deserves while still enjoying his independence. If youâre looking for a loyal, loving 20-pound bundle of affection with the perfect balance of playful energy and cozy couch vibes, Teddy might just be your perfect match. ð¶ð This pet is participating in the Dallas Pets Alive rehoming program.
