Pearl and Opal are a very special pair of 2-year-old sisters looking for the purrfect forever home to fill with gentle, refined companionship.Opal is an expressive, goofy conversationalist who is learning to enjoy gentle caresses and head scritches. Her blue-eyed sister Pearl, who is deaf, enjoys cozy lounging spots and nocturnal explorations. These lovely ladies adore each other and are often found grooming each other or sleeping together as a single ball of white fur. They enjoy primetime cat tv; playing with catnip toys and ball tracks; and, most of all, harshly judging the daily activities of their trusted humans. This pair has made enormous strides in becoming brave but will need a forever family that will help them continue to gain courage and blossom at their desired pace. They both allow pets and enjoy the company of their trusted humans but will need a very long decompression period in a new environment. Pearl's deafness does not require special accommodations other than sensitivity to approaching her slowly to avoid startling her. Pearl and Opal currently live in a quiet home with one female adult foster mom and two teenage children. They are seeking a small, quiet, predictable home with windows showcasing sunny, high-quality cat tv and a patient, loving family that is willing to provide a safe, nurturing environment for these beautiful cats to continue blossoming into their best and bravest self. They would do best in a home with no children and no other pets, although they have con-existed very well with other cats that don't impose upon them. Their forever family will ideally have experience with shy cats and appreciate the unique beauty of this special brand of cat parenting.
