My Story
Quincy is a 2.5-year-old white and tabby male looking for his forever home! This sweet, handsome boy is so ready to enjoy the cozy indoor life with the right kind, patient humans. He is learning to trust and gaining more confidence every day!Food is the way to this adorable man’s heart. When he’s enjoying a tasty treat at the food or water dish, he will consent to some gentle pets. His favorite areas to receive love and scritches are around his head and neck (no touching near the tail or back end at the moment, please). He is a smart boy and will even respond to a whistle once he gets to know his people.Once Quincy feels comfortable with his surroundings, he is okay with being picked up gently. He is fantastic with other adult cats; this loving guy may hiss a bit at first, but that’s just his initial caution–in no time, he coexists peacefully with his new buddies. Kittens are his absolute favorite! He will snuggle with them and groom them like he's their dad. Quincy’s ideal home would be with compassionate, caring humans who can let him adjust on his own schedule. He would especially love some kittens or a young cat or two to look after and bond with. Because he needs to maintain his boundaries as he adapts to his new environment, gentle teens would be okay, but no younger children, please. This lovely man has had some hard times before beginning his journey to a life of comfort and happiness. In the right patient, caring home, with some small kitten friends and people with big hearts, Quincy can truly bloom into his best self. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
