PONGO

Pongo is a friendly, social guy who loves to make friends with everyone he meets at Humane Colorado. We don't know much about his history but we do know he's an energetic, playful guy so you'll want to use a harness or he'll be walking you! Pongo is ready to explore the world and if given the chance he'll try to do so, with or without his people. He'll need a secure yard with a 6 ft fence or he might pull a Houdini and disappear for a new adventure. This sweet boy oozes enthusiasm about everything and will be happiest with active, experienced owners who will provide plenty of positive reinforcement training to remind him he's a grown-up dog. Due to his size and evergy we recommend a home with older or no children, so he'll receive consistent positve training. This guy is a smart cookie and would love plenty of walks, playtime with his people and games and puzzles to keep that active mind engaged. He's a big fan of hot dog treats - come in to meet him and we'll provide the treats!
