HERMES

Hermes (A141284) is a 4-year-old husky x hound mix who weighed nearly 70 lbs at intake!02/28/26 This tall handsome guy is Hermes! Hermes was surrendered to the shelter because he was not getting along with the other dog in the home. He is looking for a home that will allow him to be the only dog. Hermes was said to do well with babies and kids and was described as being friendly, affectionate and sometimes shy. He has been known to dig and chew, but he was said to ride well in the car. It is unclear if Hermes is kennel trained or housebroken, but he was said to stand by the door when he needs to go out. Hermes is a very tall dog, and he has been known to jump on people and counters. While at the shelter, we have noticed Hermes can be nervous in new situations.
