A volunteer took sweet Thumper out and about. This is her report:We enjoyed our first walk together. He is a GEM!We had a lovely time getting to know each other a bit, and he quickly showed me that he already knows the sit command.If you have treats, you can work with him using tiny treat pieces which he takes so gently.He LOVES to be with a person, and really loves to explore outdoors.He was interested in what was going on around us, but would also pay attention when I asked him to.A couple of times he started to overstimulate on leash but quickly quieted when asked.He is super sweet, learns quickly, and will make an amazing adventure buddy.Medium-high energy (he's a youngin), and likely dog social (we'll let you know).Likely potty trained.I'm a big fan of this dog!He would make an amazing family dog.If you want to be the lucky family/person chosen by Thumper, you'll need to make an appointment to meet him through yoloshelter.org/adopt.
