FRANCIS

Francis is a handsome 4-year-old Akita with a gentle and loving personality. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and may need some time to feel comfortable in new situations, but with patience and kindness he warms up and shows his affectionate, loyal nature. Once he trusts you, Francis becomes a very sweet companion who enjoys being close to his people. Despite his large size, he is a gentle big boy with good manners in the home and is fully housebroken. Francis has a medium energy level, making him a great match for a home that enjoys regular walks and relaxed time together. He is also friendly with other dogs and would enjoy canine companionship.Francis’ future family should plan to follow up with their own veterinarian regarding some medical findings. He currently has mild to moderate dental tartar and some worn lower teeth. During his exam, a mild subluxation of the right hip was also noted on manipulation of the hips and stifles. These findings will need routine monitoring and guidance from a veterinarian.
