Hi, I’m Nala! I’m a sweet, gentle, and loving pup looking for a patient home where I can continue to grow in confidence. When I first came to the shelter, I was very scared of new people and experiences, but with time, kindness, and lots of tasty treats, I’ve started to make many friends and feel much braver. Treats are definitely the way to my heart. I warm up quickly when snacks are involved! Once I start to feel comfortable, I also love receiving all the pets and attention, I may even try to cuddle into your lap. It may take me a little time to fully trust new people, but when I do, I’m a very affectionate and loyal companion. Because I need some time and space to warm up, I’m looking for a home without kids under 12 where I can settle in at my own pace. If you’re willing to be patient with me and let me come out of my shell, I would love the chance to meet you, share some treats, and hopefully become your very best friend.Notes from staff: `Nala is such a lovey girl!
