My Story

*Name: Neo*Age: 3.5 years old*Current Weight: 93 lbs *Adoption fee: $400Meet Neo, 100 pounds of majestic fluff, emotional intelligence, and just a touch of chaos. This Great Pyrenees mix looks like a calm, wise guardian straight out of a movie… and sometimes he is. Neo can absolutely be that serene, soulful, “I understand the universe” kind of dog, gliding through life like a gentle giant. And then other times? He’s like, “OMG HI I LOVE YOU,” and suddenly you’re being greeted by a 100-pound airborne cloud. Balance.Neo is the kind of dog other dogs respect. He reads the room, matches energy, and is basically the therapist of every playgroup. Nervous dogs? He’s got them. Rowdy dogs? He’ll adjust. He’s the guy we call in when everyone else needs to get their act together. Truly, an icon.He also thrives outside, walking, exploring, soaking up nature like the majestic land polar bear he is. A home with space to roam and a dog buddy (or two) would be his absolute dream situation. Now, let’s talk about Neo’s “fine print” : Neo is…enthusiastic. Like, occasionally forgets he weighs ONE HUNDRED POUNDS enthusiastic. He can be jumpy when he’s excited, which is adorable until you realize you are now bracing for impact from a small polar bear.He also has epilepsy. The good news? It’s currently well-managed with daily medication, and he’s doing great. The real talk? His future family needs to be committed to keeping up with his meds and understanding that this is part of who he is. But honestly… who among us isn’t on something these days? Neo just happens to be very responsible about his prescriptions. What you get in return is something really special: a deeply intuitive, incredibly loving, loyal companion who will bond with you on a level that feels almost human. Neo isn’t just a dog, he’s a presence. A vibe. A slightly oversized, occasionally airborne guardian angel.Neo is ready to find his forever home, preferably one with space to roam, dog friends to hang with, and humans who appreciate a big, beautiful, slightly chaotic soul.To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs
