George: He's Got the Roar, the Ride, and the Right Stuff! George's adoption donation is $350 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning.   Don't let his quirky looks fool you – George is a vibrant and playful companion with a spirit that defies his age! This charming gentleman is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life. Even though George can't hear as well as he use to, he's a quick learner and already knows "sit" for his treats. This well-mannered fellow is house-trained (though transitioning to a new home may require a little patience) and has excellent table manners. No fenced yard? No problem! George is happy to stroll on a leash. While George appreciates the company of men, he would be happy in any loving home. While he is friendly with people and other dogs on walks, he would thrive in a quiet home where he can relax and be the center of attention. George has a unique way of expressing himself with playful "roars” that are sure to melt your heart. He'll let you know when he's ready for breakfast, a potty break, playtime, or even just a cuddle on the bed! This smart pup knows how to ask for what he wants, like a little lift onto the bed to snuggle in for the night. George is a true sweetheart, and while he might play a little hard-to-get with kisses at first, he's learned to give them (especially if there's a treat involved!). He is a great companion to bring along for social outings such as patios, loves golf-cart rides, and is happiest riding shotgun in the car with his head out the window, taking in all the sights and smells.
