SCARLET

Scarlet has been waiting for a forever home since May 2024! Shelter life was simply too overwhelming for her so she was moved into a foster home with one of our staff members, where she’s had the chance to finally blossom and be herself. In foster care, Scarlet has truly come into her own. She’s affectionate, loves to cuddle, has a healthy appetite, and knows her basic commands. She’s equally happy heading out for walks or stretching out in a sunny spot like a baking potato. Scarlet can be reactive on leash, but outside of that context she actually enjoys playing with other friendly dogs. Leashes just tend to complicate things for her when meeting other pups, so thoughtful introductions and handling go a long way. Unfortunately her foster cannot keep her forever and knows Scarlet is ready for a forever home with a family that will appreciate her sweet, snuggly nature. Scarlet is currently in foster.
