Meet Butterscotch, a gentle, buff-colored beauty with a heart as soft as his fur. This handsome boy was sadly left behind after his beloved caregiver suffered a heart attack, but he hasn’t let that dim his sweet spirit. Butterscotch is a calm, affectionate cat who would make a wonderful addition to any family. While he may be a little shy at first, once he warms up, he becomes incredibly loving and loyal. He enjoys the occasional outdoor stroll but would be perfectly content as an indoor-only companion. If you're looking for a kind, low-key cat who just wants to be loved, Butterscotch is your guy. On average, we spend over $250 to cover spay and neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask for a minimum donation of $80 per cat, and that adopters pay more if they are able to. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
