San Francisco Animal Care & Control contacted Mickaboo for help with a red-crowned amazon parrot. The bird recently joined the San Francisco wild flock conures. A citizen who feeds the wild flock noticed that although this new bird was a good flyer, he/she was also very friendly (not wild) and would perch on his shoulder and arm. The citizen captured the bird and brought him/her to animal control. No one claimed the bird, so Mickaboo took him in to find him a good home. Are you interested in adopting him/her?
