He’s left street life behind and is learning to fully enjoy the comfort and predictability of indoor living. Joji can be shy with new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes an affectionate companion. He loves sunny naps, curling up beside you, and settling into your lap or on your chest for snuggles. Chin and neck scritches are his favorite, and he’s a total gentleman at mealtime. He’s smart and food-motivated, knows how to sit and jump on cue, and enjoys quiet playtime with wand toys, kickers, and small solo toys. Joji thrives in a calm, adult-only home and does best as the only pet. Sudden movements can startle him, and he communicates with a warning nibble when overstimulated, but he’s made huge progress learning to feel safe. With patience and consistency, he blossoms into a loyal, loving shadow who prefers to stay close by.
