CAESAR

Meet Caesar, a VERY cute donkey who came to us along with another equine companion after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them. Since arriving, Caesar has received all necessary medical care and completed groundwork training. Now, he's looking for his forever home!Caesar has a calm and somewhat timid personality. He may not thrive in busy environments or around small children, but his quiet nature makes him a peaceful presence. With his sweet face and signature big donkey ears, Caesar is quite endearing. While he might prefer quiet companionship over crowds, he has plenty of love to offer the right person. Caesar is still learning to stand quietly for the farrier but has come a very long way from the donkey he was when he first arrived. It has taken lots of training (and maybe a few treats...), but with patience and time, our farrier is able to trim all four feet without needing sedation! He will need an experienced handler to work with him to continue building his confidence for hoof trims. Caesar gets along with other equine and tends to be on the lower end of the pecking order. His adopter should know that at his previous home, he was quite the escape artist! He will need strong fencing at his future home to ensure he won't pull another Houdini and disappear into the night!
