My Story

Templeton says, "I'm a young pigeon (a "squeaker" they call me!) and I was lost in the mission district in San Francisco. I didn't have anywhere to go, so I decided to hang out in a water bowl in someone's backyard. I later found out it was a water bowl for a CAT! Can you believe that?! The cat's owner was kind enough to text Palomacy and they got me to the vet because I had a slightly injured right wing. The vet thinks it will heal just fine and that I'll be able to fly again. I'm a little skittish at the moment, but my foster mom says I'm very sweet and she thinks I will learn to trust people again."Templeton is a smart little (probably) feral with a little too much white in her coloring for us to feel comfortable releasing her back to the wild. Perhaps she’s domestic? We will never know but she is with Palomacy now and doing great after being found in bowl of water with a nodule under her wing. She grown into a very pretty teenager! Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
