2/6/26:  Hi, I’m Stella Ivy! I’m a 9-month-old kitten with a playful spirit and a heart that’s learning how wonderful humans can be. I didn’t always know that, though. I grew up on the streets in Trenton, where being cautious helped keep me safe. Because of that, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. But here’s my secret… once I realize you’re kind and safe, I turn into a total lovebug. I LOVE to play, especially with feather toys and wand toys. If it moves, I’m chasing it. Playtime is one of my favorite ways to bond and show off my silly, energetic kitten side. I’m also extremely motivated by squeeze treats — they might just be the fastest way to my heart! When I feel comfortable, I become incredibly affectionate. I’m known for giving what my foster mama calls “aggressive cuddles” — enthusiastic, determined snuggles where I want to be as close to you as possible. I especially love curling up in bed with my person at night. Being close to my humans makes me feel safe and happy. I also get along great with other cats, and I enjoy having playful friends around. I’m looking for a home with someone who understands that I may need a little patience at first while I settle in. Once I trust you, I promise you’ll see my playful, loving, and deeply devoted personality shine through.
