Brewster

This absolutely stunning pigeon is Brewster! His foster mom is mesmerized by his striking colors of silver and purple-brown, and she can't stop telling him how handsome he is. He's gotten quite used to being lavished in compliments, but that by no means indicates he's lost appreciation for them! Right now, since he is newly rescued, he watches his foster flock with quiet reservation. He is careful and respectful of the goings-on of his surroundings, perhaps even contemplative. Maybe he's reflecting on how he had survived in the wild after being attacked by a hawk. Perhaps he's appreciating the love and safety he now has. Or maybe he's just thinking about how lucky he is to spend his days basking in the sun with no other expectations upon him. From here on out he won't be forced to race, to have to survive in the wild, to know hunger.
