DOB: 5/2024  Hooba was rescued from a life outside, and when he first arrived, he made it clear he wasn’t sure about this whole “people” thing. The world hadn’t always been kind to him, and he was scared and upset, just trying to protect himself the only way he knew how. But with time, patience, and consistency, Hooba has already come so far. He’s learned that he is safe now. The fear that once defined his days has softened, and in its place is a quiet curiosity and a growing willingness to trust. He’s still on his journey, but every day he takes another small step toward believing that humans can be gentle, too. Hooba is looking for a calm, understanding home with someone who will let him move at his own pace — someone who will celebrate the tiny victories and never rush him.
