My Story

Pooh Bear and his siblings were born around April 2025 into a colony, but was brought inside when his family was spayed/neutered.  He did very well in his first foster home with the other kitties, but because he was a little more shy than his siblings, they all got adopted and he didn't.  But that's okay, because he just transferred to a foster home that was a little more quiet and he couldn't get lost in the fray.  He is still a little shy and will run and watch you from not too far away but once you sit and have a toy, he will approach you and let you pet him (soon rolling over for belly rubs and head butts).  He also doesn't mind coming and sitting next to you while you are at your computer (like he is right now).  He is quiet and gently and doesn't really rough and tumble play, but really enjoys running around with kitty friends, particularly his buddy Honeycrisp.  The of them have lots of fun together, even sleeping together and talking to each other.  They both love to look out the windows at the birds, playing in cat tunnels, and jumping around on cat trees. Pooh Bear should be adopted either with Honeycrisp or into a family with cat who needs a playmate.  He is pretty adaptable to new kitties, and he's been around dogs with no problems.  Kids who love to play with him would be ideal--especially if they are armed with a feather wand! Pooh Bear's adoption donation is 135.00 (with Honeycrisp, their joint fee would be $245) and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, and neuter.
