Whimbrel

You’re sitting at your desk and just finishing an email when you feel a nudge at your ankle. Peering down, an expectant and adorable face keenly awaits an acknowledging pet on the head and ears before lying down indulgently beside your feet as you return to your inbox, feeling a little lighter. You’re coming home from a long day at school, walking through the door as you lay your backpack down and kick off your shoes. You call out to your best friend, and she comes hopping around the corner towards you. She comes to a halt inside your outstretched arms as you kneel down to greet her, her front paws touching your knee and she stands up to inspect all the smells of the day on your sweatshirt. She is looking forward to an afternoon of playing in your room and taking naps as you work on your homework beside her, comfortable and happy in each other’s presence. Whimbrel is a sweet young bun who is looking forward to sharing her love with her family at her forever home. Ever the attention queen, she loves pets and is inquisitive and keen with a mischievous streak, which is bolstered by her athleticism. She has been known to hop up onto ottomans and onto your lap with little hesitation, even climbing boxes and luggage to triumphantly perch on a desk.
