Sora

Hi!  My name is Sora, and it means sky in Japanese. I do have a stage 2 heart murmur, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life and playing with the other cats and dog in my foster home. I am still working on building trust with humans, though. The reason for my lack of trust is that I was found in a manufacturing facility shortly after I gave birth to my litter of kittens.  My foster mom took us in, and I have been working on trusting humans since. While I have gotten better at trusting humans, I am a work in progress. My furever home will need to be understanding and take their time in getting to know me. While I will let you pick me up without biting or scratching you, you will need to corner me or sneak up on me in order to do so. I have no interest in going outside. So a barn cat life isn't really the life for me. I love living indoors and interacting with the other animals in my home. I also enjoy watching my foster mom and dad do people things inside the house. I have recently gotten brave enough to brush against my foster mom's leg while I walk past her. And have also sat behind her head on the couch while she wasn't looking.
