Florence

8/30/25 Update: Florence went through the hardest, weirdest molt I have ever seen a dove have (at first I thought he was being bullied) & I'm very glad to say he's recovered & is looking great. He loves to nest-sit with his buddy Mackenzie. I wouldn't say they are mated but they are definitely very good friends. Little Florence is an enigma wrapped in a mystery. They are one of three Ringneck doves who were rescued alive after being "let go" when their person died. They arrived seeming very demure & timid & mild mannered & I guessed female but then after a couple of weeks in the foster aviary, Florence has been acting very bold & forward & mannish...
