Mackenzie

8/30/25 Mackenzie loves to nest-sit & is often found just like this (he's on the left) with his buddy Florence. I wouldn't say they are mated (they don't do mated stuff) but these guys are definitely BFFs who both love to nest-sit.Intrepid Mackenzie is one of three Ringneck doves (with Breeze & Florence) who were rescued alive after being "let go" when their person died. Mackenzie arrived seeming to be interested in the hazing & courting that erupted when the new doves joined the flock of three already there & so I guessed male but now after a couple of weeks in the foster aviary, Mackenzie seems to be acting more like a female...?Please apply to adopt http://www.pigeonrescue.org/birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
