Peaches

Meet Peaches! Peaches came to us in September 2025 after being caught as part of a local TNR program, but it quickly became clear this girl had absolutely zero interest in being a feral cat. Instead, she decided she’d much rather be a professional house cat and full-time attention seeker. Our volunteers describe Peaches as a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to bonk her head into people to request pets. And by request, we mean she will politely insist until you comply. Peaches is also very playful and has enough energy to keep life interesting. She loves toys, games, and interactive playtime, and she’ll happily zoom around the house showing off her athletic skills. If your home needs a little more excitement (and a lot more cat toys), Peaches is ready for the job. She also has excellent house manners and always uses the litter box, because even chaotic little adventurers have standards. Peaches gets along well with other cats, and she’d likely enjoy having a feline friend to wrestle with or zoom around the house. Now for the fun fact: Peaches is an orange (buff) female cat, which is actually pretty rare! Most orange cats are male, making her a bit of a feline unicorn. If you’re into Pokémon, she’s basically the cat version of a shiny Pokémon — rare, special, and extremely collectible. And yes, she fully lives up to the orange cat stereotype: playful, outgoing, curious, adventurous, and just a little bit chaotic. But underneath all that orange-cat energy is a very loving girl who just wants attention and affection from her people.
