My Story

Meet Betty Sue – Searching for Her Forever Home! Betty Sue’s story is one of resilience. She was rescued from a large rock in the middle of a river in one of our southern counties, scared and unsure of the world. With time, patience, and love, she has blossomed in her foster home and now shows her true personality — a sweet, loyal companion once she learns to trust you. Betty Sue is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. She would do best as the only dog, as she prefers to give all her love to just one person or family. She is: • Spayed • Up-to-date on vaccines • Microchipped • Flea treated and dewormed • Housebroken and crate trained Betty Sue weighs approximately 24 lbs and is around 5–6 years old. Her breed is a mystery, but her loving spirit is unmistakable. She’s currently being fostered in Clarksburg, WV, and is ready to offer a lifetime of love to someone willing to earn her trust. If you have a little patience and a lot of heart, Betty Sue might just be your perfect match.  If you’d like to meet this precious girl and see if she is the perfect fit for your family, please click on the following link to fill out an application: https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/   Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip.
