My Story

To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application  HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: approx. 2 years, 7 months (as of 3/11/26) Weight: approx. 12.5 pounds  (as of 3/4/26) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Gomez Adams!  Gomez is super playful; he absolutely loves playgroup and toys of both the chew and stuffed varieties. He would prefer another small canine companion in his adoptive home but could also be an only dog. He is living with a cat in his foster home and doing well.  Gomez is nervous meeting new people, especially men. Once he builds trust, he loves to sit on his human's lap, cuddle up on the couch, and play fetch.  He is looking for a calm, quiet environment to settle into. Once comfortable he is a playful pup who loves doing zoomies in the yard and playing with his toys! In the car, Gomez has his own special basket and rides with his favorite sunflower blanket to make rides more cozy. He is house trained and has been left alone crated for short periods of time uncrated.   Gomez is looking for a relaxed family life.  He would thrive in a loving home with plenty of fetch, walks and cuddles on the couch. In return, he will give you all his love and infinite puppy kisses! It’s absolutely scary how cute Gomez Adams is! Will you give him the loving home he deserves? Let him know you’re interested in meeting by filling out an application today! Gomez is currently enrolled in Modern Dog training class and is a star student.   An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see  HERE  for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
