My Story

Hi! I’m Chocolate Ganache! I’m the softer, slightly more timid half of this sweet duo, and I am deeply bonded to my brother, Honey Bun. We’ve been together our whole lives and must be adopted together — we rely on each other for comfort and confidence, and I truly wouldn’t know what to do without him. We were born safely in rescue after our mama was saved from a dumpsite in Mankato, so we’ve always known kindness. Honey is the brave, curious one, and I follow his lead. If you sit on the floor, he might hop into your lap first — and once I see it’s safe, I’ll join you. We both come running when we hear a treat bag crinkle! I gently take treats from your hand, then hurry back to cuddle with Honey or zoom through our cardboard tunnel together. We have perfect litter box habits, don’t chew on things we shouldn’t, and love timothy hay, pellets, and healthy greens (just no spinach, please). Strawberries and apple slices are our favorite special treats. With Honey by my side, I blossom more each day. If you’re looking for a gentle boy who comes with his built-in best friend, we’re your perfect pair. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male (neutered) Birthdate: 10/14/25 Approximate weight: 4.81 lbs Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.        If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
