Tory

Hi everyone, I'm Tory. I'm a cherry-headed conure. I was loved by my previous family for nineteen years before they had to surrender me and my friend Mojo. While originally we were kept together, Mojo passed away a few years ago, so now I'm flying solo and hoping to find a forever home.

Unfortunately, I had an accident recently, and I no longer have full use of my right leg and foot. While this doesn't bother me that much, an adopter would need to be okay with a special needs setup in a flannel lined cage, and willing to take me to the vet regularly for checkups.

My foster home has been working hard to get me more comfortable around people; I love to talk with people or dance to music, but I don't like being touched if I can help it. I love hanging out on my cage (in a safe space where I can't fall far), destroying toys while someone is nearby, especially if they talk with me while they're around.

I love eating pellets that have been softened a bit, and I really love slices of apple and orange, or halved grapes, as well as sweetcorn. My foster home has been trying to get me to eat vegetables, but I think they're gross!
