DOB: 2011  Missy came to us after losing the only home and person she had ever known. When her owner passed away, her entire world changed overnight. Surrounded by unfamiliar sights and people, she was scared, confused, and grieving. At first, Missy pushed volunteers away. She was spicy, guarded, and clearly heartbroken. But with patience, gentle care, and time - she slowly began to feel safe again. Today, Missy has blossomed into a sweet girl who greets volunteers, asks for extra helpings at mealtime (her favorite!), and shows just how resilient she truly is. She didn’t need to be “fixed”, she just needed someone to believe in her. Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center!
