Bert is a middle-aged Cane Corso with a gentle, affectionate nature and a strong love for human attention. Despite his size and strength, he’s a total softie who is happiest when he can be close to his people, preferably melting directly into your lap. He is something of a ladies' man and absolutely loves being surrounded by and doted on by women. Bert thrives on affection, attention, and, of course, treats, which he enthusiastically adores. As a Cane Corso, Bert is a powerful and intelligent dog who will do best with a confident, experienced handler. He is a wonderful companion and will benefit from clear structure, guidance, and consistency in his home. Bert is looking for a household where he can be the only pet and would be most comfortable in a home with teens or older. A calmer environment without small children will help him continue to thrive.
