Sugar w/ Cello

Update 6/2/21: Sugar has married her gentle, giant King pigeon friend, Cello. We are very happy for them!Sugar is a beautiful little Roller pigeon with tiny feet & a racer's face. S/he was lost & grounded with a strained wing when rescued & taken to San Jose Animal Care Shelter on 5/17. Though banded, no one responded to the shelter's efforts to get her claimed & we rescued her on 5/22. Sugar was very tense & fearful when picked up but cheered as soon as she joined other rescued pigeons. She immediately took a bath & had a nice soak with her new giant King pigeon friend.
